V-Rocket

According to Prince Buster and Derrick Morgan, V-Rocket was a upmarket set "that didn't carry that heavy beat. It was a more lighter sound, what we call Hi-Fi". V-Rocket was one of the first sound systems that have double-changer (two turntables)in the early sixties.

In the early 70ies there was a soundsystem called V-Rocket from Clarendon (perhaps the same as the sound in the sixies?). I Roy made a great impact deejaying at that sound til' 1972.
