Poison Flour

The 24th of January in '76 Jamaica was shocked as 13 people died in the eastern parish of St. Thomas after eating flour subsequently found to have been contaminated with the poison parathion.(1) Parathion a very potent insecticide was found being up to the levels of 1% in the flour. It totaled to 79 poisonings and 13 deaths. The flour was probably contaminated while being stored next to insecticides in a European warehouse.(2)

The incident was covered by many artists (mainly deejays) with songs such as Dr Alimantado's »Poison Flour« and Jah Lloyd's »Killer Flour« (with Bingy Bunny)

According to the sources I've found the incident happened in January '76. However ... according to RKR the 7" were released in '75. Anyone that can share any light on the subject?
