Carrying on where the UK Amalgamated label left off Pressure Beat was established by Trojan Records to issue the productions of Joe Gibbs in 1970. Unlike Amalagamated which was relatively prolific for a Trojan label Pressure Beat only managed some 15 issues between 1970 and 1972, the majority in 1970. It's perhaps best remembered for the original cut of Money In My Pocket by Dennis Brown.
