Kibwe was a late 80's label based in Washington D.C., USA. It was run by Ras Jesse who also was the labels producer. Ras Jesse used the famous engineer Scientist for mixing on several of the labels releases. Artists that would record for the label would be both known singers as Tinga Stewart, Sugar Minott, Eric Monte Morris and Trevor Castell and also local deejays such as Super Barry, Natango Kid, Scorcher B, Supa Wes and Junior Bapp.
