HUMAN UNITY
Johnny Osborne Selection 1-3.mp3
Starting life as Futurism Mobile Disco in 06 (a name still used for his other sound)
THE newest sound was formed in Shoreditch by Kevin Clash on Sept 4 2008
Inspired by old time friends who were veteran ex soundman...
all it really took was one weekend (Fri-Sunday) of no sleep, ting, gigs,
pulling out selection, memories, desire, love & unity;
After a lengthy hiatus away from sound business
and in some cases away from Reggae the inspiration to start up a sound
was driven simply by the love of hearing music played via specialist
equipment at sound system levels rather than the desire to be
the top ranking sound like when they were youths.
Clashy still had his specially made to custom Barracuda pre-amp,
a load of brand new audio visual equipment purchased in 06 for F.M.D
and a storage unit full of music!
After the closure of Club Red in Limehouse due to a gun incident
and licencing irregularities Clashy made an offer for the venues
scoop bins, mids, tops & amps and just like that HUMAN UNITY was born.
Although, if pushed, the owner would describe the sound as a dancehall sound
their reluctance to promote badness, violence, gun talk, phobias, division
one-up-man-ship and competition would place them more in the roots camp.
SUPER HIGH TECH in styling and delivery as opposed to the traditional
'one deck & valve amps' set up favoured by the new breed of Roots & Culture
sound systems that have blossomed throughout Europe & The World despite
all but the youngest members having great memories and love for THAT particular
weight, warmth and clarity it just flowed in the high tech direction as there was no
real plan to build a sound system.... it happened through love and enjoyment
that the worlds first two audio visual sound systems were born!
