Black Star Sound System were from Elleston Flats, Kingston 6, Jamaica. They operated from around 1979 to 1989. The owner and selector of the sound was Donal Darling AKA Smokey Don. Regular deejays on the set included Brigadier Jerry (79) and Tiger (84-86).
